Job Description

This pivotal role involves overseeing the tactical and strategic procurement of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies and services. Other Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for purchasing of all MRO items and services for ATI Specialty Materials.
  • Create Inventory Optimization strategies and supporting programs for MRO items, to meet Operational requirements, manage working capital, and leverage supplier capabilities and offerings.
  • Strategic sourcing through supplier selection and qualification, price negotiations, lead time management, and quality requirements to meet ATI's strategic business objectives.
  • Drive Continuous improvement and reporting through metrics in support of supplier performance, inventory objectives, and operational objectives.
  • Work in concert with ATI Legal, EHS, and Risk Management to qualify all on site service providers
  • Manage and supervise personnel including task assignment, performance management, policy adherence and development and providing Leadership.
  • Work with the MRO integrator, strategic sourcing and internal procurement team to deploy the agreed to optimization initiatives to bring the storeroom and associated administrative duties to a level as defined in the crib management strategic plan.
  • Implement the crib management strategy across all SM locations.
  • Standardize, simplify and implement policies, procedures, best practices within all SM storerooms.
  • Identify areas of improvement, including but not limited to; storeroom cleanliness, storeroom efficiency, inventory turns, fill rates, replenishment programs, stock outs, visual management and inventory accuracy. Create the strategy for implementing and sustaining these improvements.
  • Manage the overall performance of ATI Specialty Material's onsite Integrated Supplier Program

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of a bachelor's degree four years or equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years of work experience in supply chain, commodity, or MRO experience.
  • Experience leading people.
