we are looking for you as a(n) Assistant Operations Manager I - Online Analytics.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Operations Manager in Online Analytics for our site in Charleston, TN.

What you will do:

This position is responsible for the availability of the various types of online/inline process analyzers and their sampling systems. This may include gas chromatographs, tunable lasers, thermal conductivity detectors, infrared spectrophotometers and various other analyzers or sensors. They will also lead the Online Analytics team, which ensures the systems and processes mentioned above operate effectively, efficiently, and safely according to both regulatory and Wacker standards.

  • Managerial duties
  • Project coordination
  • Data review and KPI tracking
  • POD review, documentation, and training
  • Alignment with Germany
  • Other duties as needed

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or similar degree
  • 3+ years' experience in related field
  • 3+ years managing or supervisory experience
  • Able to lead a team of salaried employees to achieve daily and long term goals and objectives
  • Can independently plan and execute projects to support equipment needs or process improvement goals for analytics
  • Can organize and schedule multiple operational and maintenance tasks on a daily basis
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment, process equipment, and instrumentation
  • Collaborative team player that can work with external US or German counterparts to align lab goals and drive for results
  • Ability to support analytics on weekends and off hours as part of an on-call rotation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Strong commitment to environmental health and safety excellence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
