Job Summary

As a member of the Personnel Security team,youwill be responsiblefor the administration and compliance of personnel security clearances and accesses. You willsupportthe corporation inmeeting mission requirements byensuring allsecurity clearancesareproperly processed to government customers. You will provide on-site support for all security actions in accordance with corporate and governmental polices and directives.You will be the FSO implementing the collateral security program.

Work Model

This position will be located 100% onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Processes security clearances and accesses in accordance with government regulations,provides guidance on the completion ofsecurity paperwork,and tracks all clearance submissions.
  • Initiate, review, and process personnel security clearances and periodic reinvestigation's (SF86s) through the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP).
  • Coordinates with Aerospace management to obtain pertinent information when processing clearance requests for employees.
  • Interfaces with background investigators who are required to interview employees, sub-contractors, and consultants for periodic reinvestigations.
  • Prepare visit access requests.
  • Facilitate access to the military installation, for visitors without military IDs.
  • Perform Classified Document Control functions.
  • Prepare for and participate in Security Vulnerability Assessments (SVAs).
  • Conduct periodic self-inspections of security program in accordance with the NISPOM and company policies.
  • Conduct initial security awareness, foreign travel, annual refresher, and special security briefings.
  • Conducts collateral security indoctrination briefings and debriefings.
  • Maintainssecurity clearance records, tracking and metrics.
  • Handles Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and reports sensitive adverse information to a multitude of different government customers.
  • Support the CPSO and CSSO functions as needed.

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active TS Clearance, with the ability to obtain SAP and SCI Access
  • High School Diploma or equivalentand 4 years of experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Subject Matter Expert in NISPOM Implementation.
  • Skilled in applying the following collateral security disciplines: PERSEC, PHYSEC, INFOSEC.
  • Strong working knowledge of DISS, e-QIP, NISS, and SWFT systems
  • Alarm Response is a requirement
  • Must possess strong organizational skills,be detailed orientedand ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective interpersonalskills to coordinate effortsand work with other internal and external organizations
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge ofgovernmentsecurity regulations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of handling sensitive but unclassified information

How You Can Stand Out

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

  • Bachelors, degree from an accredited program in Security, Business, or other related field
  • 5 years of experience supporting government classified programs
  • SAP or SCI Security experience
  • Prior Unit Security Manager, CPSO, FSO, or CSSO experience
  • Experience in Environmental Health and Safety
  • CDSE SFPC Certification
  • Experience using SIMS
  • Current TS/SCI eligibility
  • FSO certified.
  • Knowledge of DISS, JADE, SCT, Scattered Castles or SIMS databases.

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.

$31.74 - $43.52 - $55.29
