JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS


JOB OVERVIEW:
The facilities technician assists the facilities manager in the maintenance of Intevac facilities.


JOB RESPOSIBILITES SUMMARY:
* Facilities Requests: responsible for responding to assigned HelpStar Facilities requests and completing work based
on priority. Communicate request status with customers (requestors). Close all requests and include feedback
obtained from customer whenever possible.
* Condition of Facilities: responsible for completing assigned maintenance tasks and other actions to ensure the
proper function and appearance of Santa Clara facility with awareness of high use areas and employee traffic areas
(main lobby, restrooms, main production floor and equipment pad)
* Project Support: under direction of Facilities project manager or Facilities Manager, provide support for the
completion of specific project tasks. Special focus on customer requirements and project guidelines.


REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 5 years of experience providing facility services to commercial industries.
* Working hours 7:00-3:30pm
* Available to work on weekends; must be available to work on a weekend, 4-hours to do walk-through.
* Experience with all different types of power tools
* Experience with the following: plumbing, electrical, wall repair and painting
* Fabrication of different materials
* Building motoring systems: AC/Exhaust/Heating/Lighting
* Desire and ability to learn new things quickly.
* Must be US person - permanent residency at a minimum.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
* Position located in Santa Clara, CA.
