Job/Internship Description

Interns at Helena assist our business units with various projects by working within their teams to gain an understanding of Helena's business and processes.

What your day may look like

  • Works on projects with assigned team.
  • Completes proper paperwork as needed.
  • Enters data into computer systems.
  • Searches and investigates information in files, adds additional records where needed, completes reports, keeps files current, supplies information from the file data to the work team and removes files upon request.
  • Types labels and reports.
  • Opens and distributes mail.
  • Maintains a clean work environment both inside and outside the company by using good housekeeping habits.
  • Other work-related duties as assigned by your leader.
  • Reliable and regular attendance is expected.

Education and experience needed for this position

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of two years of college pursuing an accounting or finance degree is required.

Other skills that will help you succeed

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.

Your work environment and the physical aspects of the job

The work environment for this position is that of a typical office environment where the noise level is mostly quiet. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 10 pounds.
