The Transportation Intern assists the engineering staff in the executive of the technical activities required on assigned projects and begin to learn the discipline technical policies and procedures. Under supervision participates in technical studies, investigation and designs on assigned projects. Assists the project team in the production of projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. An individual having completed his or her sophomore year of a four-year Civil engineering program with anticipated graduation upon completion of his or her senior year within 24 months.
  2. Demonstrated ability to learn the basics of design and analyses within his or her discipline. An individual with potential for employment and growth within the firm.
  3. Incumbent must be able to operate a computer to check email and to produce documents using a software program.
  4. Incumbent shall be able to traverse and navigate construction sites to inspect work done by contractors.
  5. Manipulates plans periodically. Must be able to lift plans weighting 30 pounds.
