Description

Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Speech Therapist for our Speech Therapy Department. This job is permanent, PRN.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
  • Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
  • Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
  • Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Qualifications
Minimum Education
Master's of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology:
Preferred X Required
Required Licenses
[Tennessee, United States] Speech-language Pathologist
Current Speech-language Pathology License in State of Tennessee:
Preferred X Required
Required Skills/Certifications:
The below certifications will be required at the time of hire:
X Basic Life Support (BLS)

Work Schedule PRN - rotate weekends, various shifts
